James Brown & Lisa Wilson Duff
James Brown, creative director of Ukulele Heroes, is a professional guitarist, composer, improviser and educator with over 30 years of musical experience. James is the father of 3 children, and throughout his career he has worked with students of all ages in a variety of settings. James is currently a Faculty member at the Royal Conservatory of Music (Toronto) where he teaches guitar and jazz improvisation and where he is a member of their College of Examiners.
Lisa Wilson Duff, administrative director of Ukulele Heroes, is an elementary teacher with the York Region District School Board with over 20 years of teaching experience, specializing in special education and literacy. Lisa is the mother of 3 children, is an active member of the Aurora community, and is the former director of alpine sports at Beaver Valley Ski Club.
